Welcome to the Web site of the Fireballs, a U-12 Girls Travel Soccer team.

We are Members of the Chantilly Youth Association (CYA) and the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL).

Northern Virginia soccer!

Our Web site provides a resource to CYA Fireballs players and parents, as well as to other Northern Virginia soccer players that are researching other competitive, travel soccer teams.

A brief message...

To our players:

Remember: It's YOUR team!

It's not your parents' team.  It's not your coaches' team.

We're just here to help you!

Thanks visiting our Web site!  If you live in Northern Virginia and play U-12 girls soccer, or have a daughter that plays soccer, and want to play with a really great group of girls, we'd love to talk to you.  We're always looking to increase our roster with girls born after 1 August 1986.

Feel free to visit one of our Practices on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

FIREBALLS ALL FIRED-UP!

The CYA U-12 Fireballs, an ODSL travel soccer team, are 2 – 0 this season.

The first game against EPIC Thunderbirds was 2 – 1 with the help of Julie "Little-J" Lushina, defender, and game ball winner Hannah "Tonka" Thomas, who scored two unassisted goals.

Game two against VSA Heat was 4 – 1.  Excellent defense by Liz Whalen and Julie "Big-J" Yurek. Danielle Light and Colleen Timothy both had assists.  Goals were scored by game ball winner Jamie Danoy (1), Kelly Grant (2) and Hannah "Tonka" Thomas (1). Great goalkeeping by Katie Sugermeyer!
