The Chantilly Youth Association (CYA) hosts the Fireballs.

Virginia Youth Soccer Information sites

VYSA Logo

The ODSL belongs to the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA).  The VYSA is a non-profit, charitable corporation devoted to promoting youth soccer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia. 

The members of VYSA represent organizations of teams having amateur players under 19 years of age.  Visit this site to learn about local coaching and referee instruction courses.

Players on ODSL travel teams must be individually registered to United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA).  Registration requires verification of date of birth, Social Security number, Green Card number or a number assigned by the league, and photo ID.

US Youth Soccer is the Youth Division of the United States Soccer Federation, the governing body for soccer in the United States, and has registered over 2,500,000 youth players between the ages of five and nineteen.  As a result of USYSA registration, players also become members of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).

FIFA Logo

U.S. Soccer is recognized as the National Governing Body for soccer in the United States by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).  and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) as provided in the Amateur Sports Act of 1978.

FIFA is recognized as the world governing body of soccer.  FIFA sees to it that the game is played to one unified set of rules, the Laws of the Game, all over the world.

FIFA has more member national associations than the United Nations.
