Built and managed a 200+ person software development
organization to provide customer care and billing systems for affiliated European
telecommunications firms faced with increased competition. Delivered first customer
billing solution in nine months, with client participation as part of development and
quality assurance teams. Implemented as Y2K-compliant client/server system using
IBM/MVS/COBOL and HP/UNIX/C++ technologies. Client satisfaction with quality, timely
delivery, and customer support of systems resulted in additional contracts for systems
worth over $100 million. |

For Stentor, the largest Canadian provider of global
telecommunications services, managed a project team of approximately 30 personnel to
produce consolidated billing systems in response to losing market share to other carriers
and resellers with advanced billing services. Project team consisted of both AMS and
client personnel co-located in Canada and the US. Initial billing products launched
in ten months, beating all previous Stentor or AMS Telecommunications Industry Group
implementation time frames. Customer satisfaction resulted in continuing consulting
services in excess of $10 million. |

Working with DeLoitte & Touche, led AMS team during the
design of a real-time collection and pricing system for MCI Telecommunications network
traffic. Also developed the specifications for the financial audits and controls
required for the new traffic system. |

Information Technology Management, managed AMS's Knowledge Management initiatives for
client and internal use. |

Managed Systems Architecture Group as
part of AMS corporate initiative to reengineer internal management and administrative

For US Sprint, led a team of business and
technical analysts to assess and modify their billing systems for Federal and national
accounts. As part of this engagement, participated in developing the US Sprint proposal to
the General Services Administration for FTS2000 telecommunications services, which was
ultimately awarded to US Sprint.

Managed design through initial operations
of the PacTel Regional Information System (PRISM) - a customer management, service
activation, and consolidated billing system for the cellular phone industry.
Originally implemented for PacTel Personal Communications, PRISM currently provides the
platform for systems developed for mobile communications operators and retailers in the US
and Europe.

Responsible for the operations and
software maintenance of financial systems for the US Department of Interior, Minerals
Management Service (MMS). Business systems included billing, collections, fund
accounting, distribution, and reconciliation of bonuses, rents, royalties, fines,
penalties, and interest payments due on oil, gas, and solid minerals leases. These
systems accommodated several million transactions per day, providing the second largest
source of revenue to the U.S. Government.

transaction services for AMSs CORE Foundation Software. CORE, a proprietary AMS
programming platform, provided reusable components for large business systems as part of
AMS products and client solutions.
